Job description / Role
Sector: Rail
Exciting opportunity to take a senior role on a major project in the Rail Sector. The role will be to lead the design and construction of all of the systems for rolling stock, track and depot. The successful candidate will have previous experience on technically challenging rail projects and a track record of managing the systems component of major new rail or metro projects from design to operation.
Experienced senior manager with at least 12 years rail project experience and a proven track record of design and implementation of rail systems. The successful candidate will have completed mega rail projects from beginning to end. The ideal background will be someone with an excellent background in Project and Design Management of the main systems used in metro rail transit lines or of associated systems, of the safety requirements for the metro rail transit designs, according to international standards and accepted best practice.

You will be a team player with the ability to manage others, be an exceptional multitasker and have natural time management skills. You will have excellent client and contractor management skills. You must be able to use your own initiative, be degree qualified and be fluent in written and spoken English. You will be a talented individual who wants to be part of a world leading Blue Chip international company working on high profile projects.
* Degree Qualified
* Systems Management experience for major multi-faceted construction projects
* 10 years Rail or Metro project experience
* Excellent experience in delivering technically challenging mega projects whereby systems is a large component
* Track record of Senior roles on major rail projects in large cities globally
* Excellent design management experience
* Design to Operation experience
* Ability to manage a multi faceted PMC team and develop an excellent client relationship
* Stable track record working for international companies
