Employment: Full Time

The Solution Lead is a key member of the core engagement team in Cluster Outsourcing engagements. He/she is responsible for the end-to-end solution design throughout the engagement life cycle (from Opportunity Creation through to Contract Signature until hand-over to the Account Delivery Team), both for new customer engagements as well as for engagements with the installed customer base. He/She is responsible to ensure the proposed solution addresses the customer’s business needs and will be delivered at the best possible cost. He/she manages the pursuit (engagement) solution team, acts as an interlock between MY CLIENT and the Client and is the primary interface into MY CLIENT’s Global Delivery for all aspects of the solution design during a deal phase. He/she also is the primary interface into Global Delivery management for the other engagement functions (e.g. Finance, Deal Analyst, HR consultant, Engagement Lead, etc) for all aspects of the solution.

Responsibilities:
- Engages solution design resources as needed to complete required technical deliverables
- Engages other geographies Strategic Sales Centre’s (SSC) for global elements
- Develops transition solutions including asset or employee transfer, analysis of current asset deployment (rather than purchase), and appropriate account start-up planning activities
- Provides support for client-facing resources in early phases to provide broad knowledge of MY CLIENT’ portfolio that assists in shaping the client requirements
- Work with the outsourcing pursuit team to identify differentiators and innovation
- Provides client-facing interface as required and at request of sales team
- Ensures Assurance Review process is conducted as required
- Ensures an integrated solution is developed within the parameters set by the determined price-to-win.
- Ensures solution components align with standards and best practices.
- Validates and approves proposal and solution deliverables.
- Assist in or create Solution Business Case
- Lead and perform Due Diligence for all solution aspects
- Due Diligence reports (Solution scope)
- Successfully contribute to the winning of outsourcing engagements during the pursuit phase
- During Deal Qualification work with Business Developers to create business case
- Actively participate in the definition of Win Strategy Lab (WSL)
- Manage a team of Enterprise Architects, Tower Leads and consultants (SMEs)
- Update the solution development team regularly on deal strategy and decisions from the Engagement team
- Ensure that the end-to-end solution meets internal MY CLIENT and customer criteria in terms of cost, quality and services (standard services vs. non-standard/optional/customized services)
- Manage interface between Enterprise Services Business & Technical teams during Solution Design
- Collaborate with other engagement functions to ensure scheduling and execution of business reviews
- Support the pursuit team during the negotiation phase (e.g. creation of contract exhibits)
- Ensure solution components are accurately documented and consistent and that solution contains only approved tools
- After contract signature, ensure proper solution hand-over from technical pursuit to delivery transition team

Manages the development of a quality, integrated, cost-effective solution that meets the client’s requirements, including focus on:
- Solution quality & delivery feasibility
- Price to win
- Risk mitigation
- Financials (cost/price as required)
- Alignment of Client requirements to MY CLIENT services cost/price models

- HR

Guiding approvals:
- Executive Sponsors
- SOAR
- Delivery approval
- Transition approval
- Transformation approval

Requirements

- Five or more year’s experience in Outsourcing and/or Solution Design or equivalent business experience.
- Undergraduate degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, electrical engineering or similar
- Proven track record in winning outsourcing deals EMEA and global greater than $100 million TCV
- Proven written and oral communication and presentation skills
- Proven team management skills
- Ability to work at the most senior levels (CxO)
- Experience with working with Outsourcing Advisors (TPI, Gartner etc)
- Willingness to travel
- Problem solving, analytical skills (Approach problems in a rational manner using sound strategies that ensure comprehensive understanding and effective resolution)
- Priority setting, time management (Time management sensibilities when scheduling, allocating and prioritizing commitments)
- Communication/presentation skills (Ability to communicate and present in an effective way)
- Financial skills (understands key financial indicators influencing MY CLIENT solution)
- Program/project management skills (understands and applies program/project management methods and processes to define, plan, cost, resource, track and ensure the accomplishment of targeted goals)
- Experience in 1 or more IT consulting methods
- Solution knowledge (demonstrates comfort with business sector, solution, product, service knowledge. Easily integrates/applies these perspectives in order to solve business needs)
