Logistics/ Yard Operations Leader - SAUDI NATIONALS - Large ports and yard operations company

- Supporting the development of the company standards to efficiently execute daily tasks within terminal strategy with consideration to high productivity parallel safe operations and efficient utilization of resources.
- Leading completely Operations teams and Ensure all SOP’s and safety measurements are in place and set up to meet KPI’s and follow up to ensure it’s matching with company goals.
- Working Parallel with concern manager and communicating with IPS Commercial and customers to fulfill requirements.
- Enhancing better communication among customers.
- Identify the project risks and take appropriate corrective measures..
- Arranging required resources, work allocations and ensure proper illumination during operations.
- Conduct regular project meetings with the team and addressing issues to the concern.
- All customer queries to be prioritized professionally.
- Ensure pre-operation meetings among all concerns before commencing operations is done the required standards..
- Circulating Reports to Head of Ops/Terminal Manger Ops.
- Supporting the development of the company standards to efficiently execute daily tasks within terminal strategy with consideration to high productivity parallel safe operations and efficient utilization of resources.
- Coordinating with Agents, Lines and Port control to track the vessels ETA and to liaise with planning for proper berthing plans.
- Conducting direct and professional communications with internal and external customers in reference to operational needs and controls.

Salary: 8,000 SAR Basic per month

Salary:
SAR 8000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Saudi nationals
- Maintain safe, efficient yard operations ensuring that fulfil customers requirement are satisfied and operations are delivered productively
- Good English and computing skills
- Good Arabic speaking
- Graduate Certificate in Ports/ Business admiration or Logistics..
- Require at least 3 years or more of strong experience in container terminal operations environment or similar industry
- Require a basic understanding of container terminal operations, especially vessel cargo logistics, hazardous cargo, break-bulk and special cargo handling requirements and equipment.
- Computer literate & Effective communication skill
- Ability to work outside in all types of weather and ranges of temperature
- Ensure that recognized safe working practices are utilized for all terminal operations and maintain effective implementation of safety policies and procedures
- Ability to work under pressure, anticipates potential problems and diagnoses, evaluates and resolves logistical problems as they happen in order to meet operational performance objectives and deadlines
- Ability to work with others as part of a team
