Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

A Loss Prevention Agent is responsible for preventing theft and other losses in a retail store, warehouse, or other commercial establishment. They typically perform a variety of tasks, such as:

- Monitoring security cameras and observing customer and employee activity
- Investigating suspicious activity and apprehending suspected shoplifters
- Conducting inventory audits and identifying potential theft or loss
- Developing and implementing loss prevention policies and procedures
- Training employees on loss prevention procedures

Duties and Responsibilities

- Monitor security cameras and observe customer and employee activity

- Develop and implement loss prevention policies and procedures
- Train employees on loss prevention procedures
- Work with law enforcement to prosecute theft cases
- Stay up-to-date on loss prevention trends and technologies

Requirements

- Experience is an asset
- Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
- Fluency in English
- Additional languages are a plus
