Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Manage the efficiency of all refinery, production, tanks, cooling systems, air compressors, substations, workshop, boilers, WWTP, and factory general maintenance including all mechanical, electrical equipment’s.
- Collates & reports back information on IFI refinery & production breakdowns, PM & corrective maintenance conducted on a daily & monthly basis
- In the case of electrical or workshop related tasks / breakdowns, liases with colleagues in Production departments.
- Plan & coordinate maintenance, inspection & shut down schedules for identified equipment to meet statutory/Company requirements, causing minimum operational disruption at all times.
- To ensure regular maintenance is carried out to the required safety, engineering, environmental and product quality assurance standards and on schedule.
- Ensures that required spare parts are available
- To identify and organise replacement when required, utilizing knowledge of the latest technology
- Complete reports & updates for Manufacturing Director.
- To ensure all practices meet the requirements of appropriate legislation and Company policy.
- To manage his team, with particular emphasis on training, safety, environmental and product quality assurance standards.
- Assists in preparing & recommending CAPEX & budget for each year, managing the results
- Carries out handover & communication activities according to company standards
- Works safely at all times. Observes all quality & housekeeping policies. Keeps own work area clean & hygienic
- Responsible to maintain and update relvant ISO manuals.
- Appraisal preparation for his subordinates.
- Responsible for implementation of some projects related to new equipments fixing, replacement of old equipment, etc.
- Managing & monitoring controllable costs.

Requirements

- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 8-10 years Engineering experience in management level within manufacturing environment.
- Experience in: Equipment installation, commissioning, CAPEX control, project management, improvement initiatives, , spare parts availability, troubleshooting, approval of spare parts specifications
- English, Arabic language
- IT - MS Office.
