Maintenance Manager - Power Plant - Saudi Arabia
£85-100K + accommodation + car + medical + flights

Established major power plant in KSA is seeking a Maintenance Manager to join their senior team.

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the day‐to‐day, the planned and the long term mechanical, electrical, civil, instrumentation and controls maintenance, quality control, asset integrity and maintenance engineering whilst directing the activity of all maintenance personnel for the safe, efficient operation of the entire facility. Ensuring that all plant maintenance is accomplished in authorised plans, procedures, schedules and budgets.

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for scheduling and directing the activities of the team.

The Maintenance Manager will keep the shareholders informed about important and relevant events. Responsible for the implementation and follow up of the shareholders objectives, policies and requirements, taking into account the point of view of the other shareholder.

Requirements

Experience of working at Maintenance Manager level on Combined Cycle, Steam or Coal fired power plants.
- Degree qualification is essential for visa / site requirements
- Substantial knowledge of engineering practices, functions and processes involved in maintenance of Power and Desalination Plants
- Good leadership skills proven in a multicultural environment
- Knowledge of typical legislation associated with Power Plant maintenance
- HSE conversant
- A good understanding of maintenance management concepts and practices
- Previous experience in Middle East is a plus
- Knowledge of risk management techniques
- Some knowledge of commercial processes and budgeting experience
- Strong leadership skills are required.
