Maintenance Officer

Job description / Role

Objectives: To plan , implement and monitor all activities of the Maintenance team in order to deliver an effective maintenance function that ensures all machines and equipment are functional at all time for AIMCO and Al-Bayad.

Main responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the preventative maintenance plan in order to ensure all machines and equipments are functional at all times
- Ensure effective time management and prioritisation of tasks by the team in order to complete activities within time constraints and cost
- Review, track and monitor performance of all maintenance activities
- Provide technical guidance for maintenance
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures
- Ensure all machines and equipment are maintained in accordance with recognized International Standards
- Analyse the department efficiency and recommend new acquisition of machines and equipments in order to increase productivity
- Oversee all requisition for parts replacements and supplies and ensure all proper documentation on all requisitions
- Maintain an accurate inventory record of supplies and parts requisitioned and received
- Monitor and control maintenance costs
- Keep abreast with technological progress in order to maintain and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of machinery and equipment
- Ensure that the maintenance team complies with all agreed standards and corporate Health and Safety policies and procedures

Reporting to: General Services Manager
Subordinates: Maintenance team

- External: Suppliers
- Internal: Senior Management, AIMCO Departments, and Al-Bayad Departments

Probation: 3 Months
Travel requirements: occasional within the country
Commission / Bonus: as per company's policy

Requirements

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields
- Minimum 3 years experience in similar role
