Job description / Role
A Saudi based environmental consultancy requires an experienced Maintenance Section Head for high profile project on a long term government contract. Work is conducted in English.
The successful candidate will be responsible in supervises a team of electronics and mechanical engineers and technicians responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of meteorological / air quality monitoring, environmental laboratory and computer and telemetry equipment.
Duties will include:
- Ensuring routine maintenance of Contractor vehicles, standby generators and the boat
- Responsible for training and developing techniques and skills of other staff in the Maintenance Section
Requirements
- Degree holder from an accredited U.S. or Western. European University in Electronic or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of ten (10) years relevant working experience in maintenance of similar equipment and at least three (3) years supervisory experience.
- Experience with sophisticated analytical equipment with the industry or the equipment service sector.
- Good writing skills and fluency in both written and spoken English is a must.
In addition to a tax free salary equivalent to SAR 22,000 plus SAR 4,000 accommodation, transportation and food allowance you will receive an ex-pat package inclusive of annual roundtrip economy ticket, 30 days per year paid vacation and medical.
