Manager - Valuation

Job description / Role

As a Valuation Manager, you'll undertake and manage valuation assignments, ensuring delivery of valuations on time, to a high standard, in compliance with our policies and procedures and to assignment budget and timetable. You'll obtain an understanding of the client's issues and establish the context in which the valuation is required. Working closely with senior managers, directors and partners, you'll keep them informed of any issues and concerns and you'll be involved in the production of written file notes, letters, presentations and reports, formulating views on value and presenting conclusions to the senior manager, director and partner on the assignment.

Your duties will also include coaching and providing feedback to junior team members to help them develop business valuation skills and experience of performing valuations to the required standard. You'll also assist in the development and marketing of new products and solutions, and build relationships with external clients and within the firm.

Client responsibilities
- Participate in valuation engagements
- Assist in managing the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, tracking fees and communicating issues to project leaders
- Participate in business development initiatives
- Build strong external client relationships and internal relationships across all service lines

People responsibilities
- Help people to develop through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring staff
- Contribute to performance feedback for staff on a timely basis
- Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures

Requirements

- Strong writing skills
- Strong academic record, including an undergraduate degree
- An MBA, ACA, CA, CPA, CFA or other recognized professional qualification is desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
- Proficiency in Arabic language skills are highly desirable
