Due to continued success in the country we are now seeking an experienced Marine Structure Engineer for Maritime Shipyard Development Project in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.

Maritime Yard is located in Ras Al-Khair Industrial City and will cover a proposed area of 4,100m by 1,200m. Maritime Yard is envisioned to be a world class maritime location providing a combination of New Ship Buildings, and MRO facilities(Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) including Very Large Crude Carrier Capabilities (VLCC). The principal assets for Maritime Yard will be the Dry Docks, Wharfs, Piers and Cranes.

Marine Engineer will hold the following responsibilities and duties:
- Provides technical/engineering support for client's shock testing program.
- Assists in the development of new ship and system concepts.
- Develops designs for current and conceptualized systems, and equipment. Prepares plans and drawings using design software.
- Analyzes elements or performance of the design using analytic tools, model tests, or prototyping as appropriate. Participates in developing reports of results and conclusions.
- Applies regulatory, and customer standards, as well as classification society rules.
- Interfaces with suppliers, vendors/contractors and cross functional teams to ensure necessary resources are available for ship/system.

Requirements

- Qualified to degree-level in Marine Engineering with significant experience gained from working in a similar role.
- Master Unlimited Class I (C/E) certificate of competency STCW 95.
- Crowd management course.
- Crisis management course.
- SSO course (Passenger Safety, Cargo Safety and hull integrity).
