MEP Projects Director - Al Futtaim Engineering - Mecca

As a Project Director will be ensuring the successful completion of all construction MEP work by leading, coordinating and managing the Project Team.

The duties of the Project Director will include:
- Leading and directing all major projects and mobilising and directing the project team
- Engaging with the Client / Contractor to ensure the appropriate business relationships are established and maintained at all levels;
- Understanding and mitigating Commercial risks in a complex major projects design and build environment
- Maintaining appropriate governance across the bid / mobilisation process to delivers the best quality, cost effective, while appropriately managing risk
- Ensuring that the business attracts, recruits, develops and retains the talent required to resource its project requirements
- Attending regular meetings (on work progress, coordination, design, etc.) with Main Contractor and Consultant to discuss key issues related to project and take effective corrective actions
- Monitoring project budget and schedule and oversee performance to ensure on time, quality and on budget project execution
- Reviewing periodic reports for management including status of budgets, variance/change claims, schedules, disputes, up-coming activities & safety records
- Ensuring all technical aspects of projects are strictly complied with and in conformity with Terms of contract, Particular specifications, General specifications, Contract Drawing & BOQ
- Ensuring that the HSE requirements are provided and that they comply with related regulations
- Providing guidance, managerial, technical support to complete project team
- Preparing & monitoring program master schedule and perform critical path analysis, plans and schedules, status reports and performance evaluations, program planning capabilities including interfaces and risks analysis
- Establishing and monitoring program and project controls KPIs
- Ensure implementation of program policies and procedures

Requirements

- A Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 15 Plus years of experience in core MEP projects
- 5 Plus years of experience as a Project Director in large-scale MEP projects
- 5 Plus years of experience in the Contracting Engineering Industry
