As a result of work secured in this market to date, together with notable emerging prospects across the region spanning the engineering spectrum, there is now a need to provide permanent leadership of the KSA business development team based in Kingdom, to develop and grow market revenues and the pipeline of opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-contract cost planning and estimating, BoQ production, tender services, contract preparation;
- Specialised in MEP systems, Mechanical, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Plumbing, Drainage, Electrical, Low Voltage, Vertical Transportation, etc.
- Post contract administration of contract (POMI, FIDIC Red Books and D&B – drafting correspondences, claims, delay analysis etc.);
- Management of bonds, insurances and guarantee logs;
- Interim valuations and payment certificates;
- Variations analysis, recommendations and management;
- Performing risk and value management and cost control functions;
- Undertaking costs analysis project work;
- Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks;
- Writing detailed progress/ cost reports;
- Reporting to Client Representative on all commercial issues;
- Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations;
- Managing workload with minimal supervision;
- Client facing and leading commercial meetings.

Requirements

- Must have previous experience of FIDIC Traditional and Design and Build Contracts;
- Hotels/ Residential/ Commercial/ Healthcare/ Education experience advantageous;
- Degree in Quantity Surveying from recognised university;
- Min 4 years pre or post-contract experience;
- MRICS or enrolled on APC as minimum;
- Must have consultant and/or contractor background for minimum of 2 years;
- Knowledge in the use of QS software CATO or similar is preferred, otherwise good working use of AutoCAD;
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
- Team and /or independent worker;
- Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
