Employment: Full Time

On behalf of our client, a top medical provider in Saudi Arabia, Gulf Connexions has been mandated to assist them in their search to hire a number of Nephrology Consultants. These roles will be based inside KSA. An attractive tax-free salary and a range of additional expatriate benefits will be offered for the selected candidates.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, manage and treat a spectrum of kidney-related disorders.
• Provides high-quality nephrology and hemodialysis care and management of dialysis patients
• Work alongside primary care physicians to determine the best method of care for kidney patients with comorbidities
• Develop relationships with the patients and educate them about the best ways to manage and to prevent further kidney damage.
• Oversees long-term care planning, including counseling and referral for transplantation when appropriate.
• Ensures thorough documentation is available in patient charts of individual treatment and follow-up.
• Complies with Approved International Accreditation Standards and follows all Saudi governmental regulations and company Policies and Procedures.
• Coordinates with Saudi Ministry of Health (MOH) hospitals and provision of documentary requirements including in case of emergencies or travel
• Ensures center preparedness at all times to handle emergency care of patients, including proper training of teammates, equipment readiness, and procedures in place

Requirements

Requirements:

• A medical degree from a recognized medical school or college.
• American Board, Canadian Board ( FRCPC ) Members & Fellow of the Royal College of UK & Ireland (MRCP,FRCP with CCT, FCP (SA) South Africa, French (DIS, DES,CIS,CES), FACP ( Australia & New Zealand ) FachArtz, Swedish Board, Belgium Board, Spanish Board, Italian Board and all other Western / Arab Board qualifications accepted.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in dialysis preferred
• Licensed SCFHS as Nephrology Consultant would be advantageous but is not essential.
• The applicant must have a valid professional license to practice, or registration (where applicable) from home country and/or country of last employment. Must have Good standing status.
