Job description / Role
Network Engineers - Filipino with Transferable Iqama
Job Description:
• Provide specialist configuration for IP Networks.
• Provide specialist support deployed IP Networks.
• Problem analysis and resolution of problems.
• Problem escalation/resolution.
• Advise customers regarding the network capabilities and address specific user issues.
• During problem escalations, act as a liaison between customers and support elements.
• Supports exercise and training events. Assists team and customer with pre-deployment planning and preparation. Participates in engineering, integration, and test activities for the supported systems.
• Identify and troubleshoot system problems. Conduct tests using a wide range of instruments and test equipment. Analyze results to restore systems or improve performance. Document and report results.
• Implement and ensure adherence to operations, maintenance and organisational procedures and policies. Review, edit, and recommend changes to technical and procedural documentation.
• Account for and ensure positive control of critical resources.
• Assist the customer base during network configuration and deployments
Requirements
• Minimum of CCNA routing and switching certificate.
• Two years technical training at an accredited school (4 years of related experience can be substituted for 2 years of technical training) or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Minimum of 3 years of data networking experience with Cisco routing and switching.
• Must be experienced in engineering, installation, configuration, and operation of IP-Networks within both WAN and LAN environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English.
• Must be able to work additional hours in order to complete working priorities on an occasional basis.
