Neuro Interventional Radiologist – Based in the Middle East

We are currently in search of a full time Body Interventional Radiologist for a 1,400 total bed capacity multi-site JCI accredited tertiary hospital site in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This medical facility encompasses General, Pediatric and Maternity hospitals as well as Dental and Kidney Centres. Currently staffed by over 8,000 medical professionals, the medical facility has plans to increase their capacity to 2,000 beds over the next few years in order to continue to offer the most innovative and pioneering treatment to patients, as well as staying aligned with the increased healthcare demand.

Specialty towers are being established within their existing site, with more to be built. This includes the creation of the new Level 1 trauma center, the largest in the region, as well as incorporating specialized ICU and diagnostic technologies. Amongst the first phase of these developments includes a high-tech surgical tower with 480 private in-patient rooms, designed for maximum flexibility to accommodate a broad range of patient requirements.

The Neuro Interventional Radiologist will join the existing highly skilled team and will be expected to provide a comprehensive neuro-interventional service. He/ She will have an active role in the planning, development and delivery of the neuro-interventional radiology service in conjunction with the team.

The post holder will be responsible for the supervision and training of more junior surgical colleagues and to develop research interests relevant to this post.

Requirements

* Must have a relevant professional qualification from either US/ Canada/ UK/ Australia/ New Zealand, Ireland or South Africa.
* Minimum 1 year Interventional Radiology Fellowship completed plus at least 3 years post-certification experience in specialty.
* Expert on Radiology Service management
* Ability to take on full independent responsibility for clinical care of patients.
* Ability to teach clinical and operative skills.
* Ability to organize and manage outpatient priorities.
