Job description / Role
- Take responsibility for detection, interpretation, handling and escalation of alarms.
- Receive and acknowledge the alarm in accordance with the operational instruction of the Network Management System.
- Receive performance alarm and analyze how it is affecting different services and SLAs.
- Classify the fault into Critical, Major, Minor.
- Perform 1st level restoration.
- Escalate if the fault is beyond the capabilities of 1st level restoration and / or cannot be solved within the escalation time.
- Create TT and assign it to relevant person.
- Create work order if need handle on site.
- Hands on experience on NSN alarm monitoring system (Netact/ Tang)
- Hands on experience on NSN system and operation and troubleshooting of 2G / 3G/ LTE network.
- Be able to work independently and resolve issues with minimum escalation.
- Flexible and responsive to changing work patterns and demands.
- Excellent team player.
- Good communication skills.
- Open approach to solving problems and dealing with new proposals.
- A thorough and methodical approach to work.
- Must be able to work to tight time scales.
- High degree of analytical and investigative abilities
Requirements
- B.Sc. level in Electrical Engineering / Telecommunication, Computer Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Trouble Ticket issuing and Handling.
- Work Order issuing and Handling.
- Escalation if need 2nd level maintenance handling.
- Monitor Network and performance threshold Alarms.
- Analyze and Classify Alarms.
- 1st Level Restoration.
- Handle Customer Problem.
- Perform Maintenance Routines.
- Analyze Maintenance Routines Result.
- Report Handling.
