The opportunity

As part of the on-boarding function, you will be required to have knowledge and understanding of EY's HR policies and procedures and how these are applied by location. The main focus will be to guarantee exceptional experience for employees and the Business. This role will be quite autonomous in nature with some guidance from the on-boarding lead. The role will be based within the core team, but will also require virtual working with other offices, teams, employees and the Business.

Your key responsibilities

As an On-boarding Senior Consultant, you will oversee the daily operations of the On-boarding team to ensure exceptional service delivery. You will be required to support further deployment, oversee sustainability and process improvement in conjunction with the On-boarding lead. Other key responsibilities include:

- Execute day to day management of new joiners
- Guide team members to resolve challenging situations concerning benefits and legal areas
- Identify potential problems and opportunities related to On-boarding
- Help internal clients and colleagues adjust to change in EY processes and structures by identifying likely issues and providing support to enable the change
- Support the On-boarding Lead in managing, coaching and the developing the on-boarding team
- Understand local on-boarding regulations and ensure full compliance
- Be accountable for reporting to support key stakeholders
- Provide location knowledge to aid transition and resolve problems relating to the on-boarding process

Skills and attributes for success

- Excellent communicator; English, both written and verbal
- Highly competent in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of HR systems, basic HR measurement and process improvement preferred
- Building positive relationships with the broader Talent Team including immigration and other CBS functions

Requirements

To qualify for the role you must have

- 5 years' experience of working in HR operations or a similar function required
- Excellent communication skills, whether written or verbal
- Knowledge of HR systems, basic HR measurement and process improvement preferred
- Basic overall leadership skills; exhibits a positive can-do attitude and approach to responsibilities; demonstrates commitment to the job

Ideally, you'll also have

- Led and worked with multi-cultural teams
- CIPD qualified. A post graduate qualification in a Business or Human Relations discipline is desirable.
