Operations Director / General Manager

Job description / Role

Objectives: To manager the entire ready mix operations

Main responsibilities:
- Measure monthly actual performance based on set performance standards as well as the performance of the business in totality (Divisions/Departments/ Sections/Units /Individuals) and provides report to the SVP.
- Monitor measure & control Business Risk Perceived for the company & Plan adequate Risk Mitigation Plan in place & ensure its effectiveness.
- Monitor & Control the expenses against the approved budget
- Implements approved Plans, Programs, Policies and Procedures as mandated from Central Management.
- Ensure alignment of people, process and technology and consistent working towards its synchronization and optimization for effective and profitable working of the company.
- Monitor & control Production department’s overall performance, their production outputs on maximum levels, maintaining figures and clear understanding on variances in sales forecast, maintenance, cost control with action plan and production output optimization.
- Responsible in identifying wastages, ensuring effective operation management, managing major cost drivers, stock availability, macro-update on production planning, labour issues, assessment of work processes, people and technology.
- Responsible also in establishing and guiding the whole team, institute appropriate systems for project execution and ensuring that the team decisions have the tools and information they need to make timely and profitable decision.
- Review, update and re-align KRA/KPI to the direction of UB central management in the business level, as well as divisional.
- Monitor and implement ;measures for the effective utilization of Equipment/ availability of resources including requirements back-up with analysis and/or reports
- Collaborate with Senior Management in matters relating to objective accomplishment and contingency planning
- Ensure that all agreed activities and plan of action (POA) are carried-out effectively in coordination

Working Hours: 6 Day weeks
Travel requirements: occasional
Gross monthly base salary: 50,000 SR a month

Requirements

- Degree Qualified
- Minimum of 15 Years experience in ready mix
- Age Range: Max 50 Years old
- Language Fluency: English and Arabic is a MUST
