Job description / Role
Allen & York are currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager - Saudi National, to work on a power project in Saudi Arabia.
Operations manager required by an international O & M company to be responsible for staff across the chemical, laboratory and plant.
Reporting to the plant manager and making sure that all targets are met including schedules, quality and the project comes in on time and budget.
Duties include:
- Responsible for the management of staff and operational activities including planned shutdown and starting of the plant.
- Discuss improvements to design and technical specifications and operating methods
- Set operational budgets
- Lead meetings to discuss progress, schedules and overcome problems on site
- Update reporting systems
- Make sure all PPE and various other safety standards are met across the plant
Requirements
Degree educated ideally a post grad in power plant engineering, but relevant experience and education considered.
Minimum experience is 12 years on a power/Reverse osmosis/desalination plant.
Excellent analytical skills and an understanding of ISO9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001.
This position is open to Saudi Arabian nationals only.
