WING.AE is courier marketplace acting as an aggregator of shipping service companies that provides the most innovative mobile and web-based user-friendly delivery booking services to the market. We currently offer our services throughout UAE. We are expanding into KSA and Egypt to offer last mile solutions to the market. We have recently been acquired by Amazon and will continue to be key player in the shipping industry by filling the gap in Amazons demand for last mile solutions at the same time providing solutions to other delivery customers in the market.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

An Operations Manager (OM) at Wing is highly visible and makes a strong impact on our organization. An OM is an efficient leader who brings thoughts into executions efficiently with the help of the team s/he takes care of.

Required Skills:

Candidate should have experience in supply chain strategy, operational process improvement, logistics supply chain, and depth in at least one of the Supply Chain disciplines at an established company.

- Experience in operations management at a reputable company
- Up to date knowledge of logistics industry, it's players
- Having a strong network of 3PLs within the country
- Top notch negotiation skills
- Experience in creating teams, hiring talent and managing/coaching them, growing the team while achieving constant improvement in productivity
- Experience in building rapport with the suppliers and managing healthy, productive relationship
- Experience in supply chain strategy is a must (e.g. Supply Chain Org and Operating Model, End to End Visibility, Supply Chain Segmentation/Tailored Supply Chain, etc.) along with depth in at least one of the following specializations (listed in order of importance):
- Experience in Logistics and Distribution - Experience in Logistics Strategy - (e.g. Insource vs. Outsource, use of 3PL, mode optimization, zoning, route optimization), Experience in Network Optimization, Experience in Warehouse Management and Optimization, Inventory Strategy/Optimization/Placement, and/or Last Mile Delivery
- Experience in Procurement - Strategic sourcing, Supplier Relationship Management
- Experience in Planning - S&OP or Integrated Planning and Execution, Master Scheduling and MRP, and/or Supply and Demand Planning.

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience at an established e-commerce logistics house
- 2+ years of experience managing the successful execution of multiple strategy or sourcing projects across multiple clients is highly-preferred
- Strong core skills, including: meeting and workshop development and management, deck writing, storyboarding, inductive/ deductive reasoning, client interviewing, issue analysis, data analysis, process design, and change management
- Strong design thinking skills including: application of conceptual modeling and visualization to problem and solution definition; knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methods for developing compelling insights into vendor performance
- Multi-tasker, problem solver, fast response to issues in resolving them
- Undergraduate degree required; top MBA or other applicable post-graduate degree preferred
- Authorized to work in the KSA in an unrestricted manner
- Willingness to travel up to 100% depending on company requirements
- MBA or other applicable post-graduate degree preferred.
