Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Provide advice and guidance to the Operations, Maintenance, Environment, Fire and Safety & Training Department.
- Provide ongoing support to the Operations staffs, Contractors, Vendors planning, investigation, maintenance, repair and installation of variety of machines and equipment to ensure that all objectives are met effectively.
- Review and monitor all aspects of Operations to ensure all operation parameters are met for the smooth and efficient and total reliability of the plant.
- Contribute to the preparation of the preventive maintenance strategy and procedure to schedule maintenance.
- Support Operations team in critical and emergency situation to mitigate the risks of emergency and critical circumstances.
- Work closely with Operations and Engineering department to resolve operational problems/ changes to the process in order to improve the operability of equipments and plant operations.
- Participate and contribute in meeting related to review and improvement of PDH/PP Operation and Maintenance Systems and study the performance post change on need basis.
- Identify training needs from incident investigation to design effective training programs.
- Establish, implement and oversee the quality systems in line with the company and industry standards.

Requirements

Candidates must have a college diploma or High school with 10-15 years working experience in petrochemical or similar plants operations

Minimum 3 years experience as operation specialist or as Shift Supervisor in or more of the following plants: Utilities &Offsite / Olefins / MTBE / Polypropylene / Polyethylene (LD & HD)

He should have the ability to provides technical input and works with production engineer ensuring plant is operated in the most effective way, Technical unit responsibility ensuring safe, economical and optimized operation, Analyses and solves day-to-day operational issues on plant. He should be excellent in oral & written English and Computer literate.
