Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Job description / Role

- Analyze User Requirements and translate into database requirements
- As a member of the web application development team, create Oracle stored procedures, packages, etc.
- Design data models and articulate development plans through ERDs and process flow diagrams.
- Develop and deploy scripts to create objects in Oracle database (tables, views, indexes etc.).
- Write, optimize, troubleshoot, and tune complex Oracle PL/SQL code and SQL queries.
- Learn the business value of various datasets and create data validation reports.
- Deliverables to be error free while meeting requirements
- Create Technical Documentation
- Works on periodic maintenance releases of applications, including enhancements and defects
- Innovative approach with focus on continuous improvement
- Manage workload effectively to meet timelines with good quality

Requirements

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Previous experience with technical documentation (eg. Technical design documents, release documentation etc.)
- Previous work experience in a data warehousing is nice to have.
- Oracle OCP Certification

Skills:
-Good understanding of Oracle PLSQL, SQL
- Must have at least 6 years’ experience with Oracle PLSQL Development
- In-depth knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL including tuning
- Good understanding of Data warehousing.
- Must be a good team player, self-motivated, possessing good inter-personal communication skills
- Good analytical and problem solving & documentation skills
