Penetration Tester

Job description / Role

- Conducts assessments of threats and vulnerabilities through attempting to access and break existing networks through passive and active scanning techniques for CNIs and other customers.
- Participate in formal tests, assessments, and audits.
- Plan and conduct formal tests of computer systems, network, and software.
- Contribute to and recommend revisions to information assurance-related policy, procedures, and standards of CNIs and other customers.
- Develop recommendations to remediate failures and/or vulnerabilities in the networks of CNIs and other customers.
- Prepare penetration test and assessment reports.
- Design and conduct regular security audits in accordance with best practices and National standards.
- Design and perform physical security assessments of computer systems, servers, and networks.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree / higher diploma Skills
- Knowledge of computer systems, networks, servers, and software.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to think independently and creatively.
- Certification in Ethical Hacking, Penetration Testing, Computer Forensics, or Reverse Engineering.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience designing penetration tests.
