Due to continued success in the Region we are now seeking an experienced Scheduler for Maritime Shipyard Development Project in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.

Maritime Yard is located in Ras Al-Khair Industrial City and will cover a proposed area of 4,100m by 1,200m. Maritime Yard is envisioned to be a world class maritime location providing a combination of New Ship Buildings, and MRO facilities(Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) including Very Large Crude Carrier Capabilities (VLCC). The principal assets for Maritime Yard will be the Dry Docks, Wharfs, Piers and Cranes.

Scheduler will hold the following responsibilities and duties:
- Reporting to the Planning Manager, the Scheduler will provide trade discipline specific leadership to the project planning/ scheduling team in development of production execution strategy and WBS for contracted work scope.
- Ensure all work scope, sequence logic, and production trade labor budget is accurately represented in production schedule and sub-schedules.
- Ensure milestones are properly represented in production schedule and sub-schedules.
- Ensure Inspection Points are properly represented in production schedule and sub-schedules.
- Ensure integration and coordination of activities with overall production schedule and sub-schedules.
- Ensure materials are supporting schedule and advice Lead Planner, Project Manager and Supply Chain Lead of required actions.
- Produce Work Packages to agreed schedule.
- Maintain and update production schedule to properly reflect progress, contract work scope changes and impacting issues.

Requirements

- A variety of Planners are required with experience in the following areas: Electrical, Pipe, HVAC, Structural, Joiner, Mechanical and Outfit Steel.
- Degree qualified with a Bachelor of Science or Engineering is an asset.
- Proven shipbuilding experience in planning and/or specific trade supervision.
- Experience using Primavera P6 (or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.
- Demonstrated understanding of CPM scheduling and EVM controls methodologies is required.
- Demonstrated understanding of shipbuilding production workflow for all trades is required.
- Marine Experience
