Planning and Risk Manager

Job description / Role

Client is a leading European design consultancy who have been awarded a major contract on the high speed rail system in Saudi Arabia. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced planning and risk manager for the following;
- To assist the project director to set up project management plans with stage wise schedules, milestones, deliverables and timelines as per the schedule management plan.
- To ensure the forecasts are modified
- To monitor the project schedule and implement risk management approaches.
- To analyse trends from past projects and proactively deploy tools to prevent failures.
- To attend regular client meetings.
- To interface with consultants, project team members and the client.
- To ensure appropriate usage and application of the project management schedule.

Requirements

Candidates should have a degree in civil engineering or a similar subject and a project management certificate such as PMP or PSP is also preferred.

Candidates should be highly proficient with Primavera P6 and should also have knowledge of risk assessment tools such as Montecarlo. Experience of working on major rail or infrastructure projects is preferred.
