Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The role is for a Planning Manager with a large-scale developer in Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible to maintain and support the operations of large projects by delivering reports and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

Description

* Support the Planning function to deliver the project planning requirements to meet with the deadlines.
* Interface with the relevant sectors or departments to schedule, maintain and report tasks as needed.
* Supervise or perform collection, verification and integration of implementation plans with the program plan.
* Plan and supervise milestones, KPI's along with monitoring work activities in a timely and systematic manner.
* Support and assist in the development and integration of each sector according to the development plan and vision. Supervise and manage a team to maintain the schedule time lines.
* Identify schedule considerations and problems due to inter-sector or group restraints and interfaces.
* Support in developing the planning and scheduling of standards and procedures. Compile and summarise all updates to produce daily, weekly and monthly reports.
* Prepare and present the Schedule Impact Report and further development and review the recover plans.
* Generate progress plans periodically and provide relevant analysis.
* Provide top management insights on issues and corrective actions.

Requirements

* Proven ability to plan, organise, direct, review and produce schedule products.
* Possess strong technical knowledge and sound judgement to engineering design, construction and procurement practices.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Proven experience in developing multiple reports as per requirements.
* Knowledge of project management through proven experience in a similar role.
* Proficient in using MS Office, Power BI Tools, Primavera P6, and MS Project.
* Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a similar field.
* At least 5 years of experience in the GCC.
