The role

Planning/Project Controls Manager

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the delivery of and subsequent performance of the baseline schedule, maintenance and control.
• Collecting and interpreting schedule data and providing output to the programme and project teams.
• Monitoring actual performance against the schedule to identify delay, early and late completion.
• Interfacing with the project technical staff to define change to schedules and identification of variances from the original plan.
• Identifying and analysing associated schedule, resource conflicts and potential cost impacts and issues.
• Requiring to work closely with the contractors, analysing their schedules and actively manage the schedules with them to ensure a successful outcome.
• Managing and maintaining schedules on a variety of projects with project manager’s at the same time.
• Managing schedules at various phases from feasibility through to handover to client.
• Developing of scheduling reports, together with the planning and controls leads.
• Collecting and interpreting schedule data and providing output to the programme and project teams.
• Interfacing with the project technical staff to define change to schedules and identification of variances from the original plan.

The successful applicant will need to have experience in coordinating and managing multiple stakeholders and demonstrate the ability to build robust, long term relationships within integrated teams.

Requirements

The requirements

Your experience, knowledge and skills need to include:

• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Major project and major development/project experience.
• Must have experience working in construction management or project management teams.
• Experience working or living in Saudi.
• Strong knowledge and appreciation of health and safety.
• Ability to make decisions and proceed with confidence.
• Expertise in various planning software.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
