Employment: Full Time

We are looking for a Plant Manager (District Cooling) for a MEP contractor in Riyadh , Saudi Arabia

Job Role:
- Plant Manager (District Cooling)
- Oversee Operation and Maintenance Staff and provide technical guidance identify training needs, enforce policies, procedures.
- Develop long term planning and maintenance activity scheduling.
- Maintain / Repair or replace equipment when necessary and perform basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical and building repair work when necessary.
- Order necessary parts, tools, equipment, etc in a timely manner by following company policies.
- Develop a long term energy conservation measures on operation for power plant and district cooling plant and implementing of new techniques which enhance energy saving
- Maintain a complement of critical spares on the shelf for plant equipment and maintain parts inventory (quantity and value matches with the records).
- Perform root cause analysis for any abnormal conditions/ failures, take required corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence of such conditions
- Track utility consumption data, prepare reports and circulate it for management review, propose/ implement corrective actions or solutions to control these costs.
- Communicate and co-ordinate with the equipment suppliers to resolve plant equipment related issues
- Create and implement preventive maintenance schedule in accordance with the equipment manufacturer’s recommendation/ industry accepted best practices for all plant equipment.
- Support an environment of continuous improvement by making/implementing suggestions.
- Through implementation and execution of company safety initiatives, create an environment where safety is a primary concern.
- Contacts and works with outside subcontractors and vendors
- Develop maintenance budget and be accountable for results based on defined Key Performance Indicators
- Perform other duties as required or assigned by management
- Develop best practices guidelines to efficiently run the plant

Requirements

- Must have a degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Ability to plan pro-actively and adhere to a schedule.
- Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams, control logic, electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Solid mechanical and maintenance background with proven management of facilities equipment repair and preventive maintenance programs.
- Ability to effectively conduct job performance reviews, recommending performance improvement plans where necessary and ability to establish and communicate department goals, objectives and processes with employees.
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure, possessing an exceptional sense of urgency.
- Ability to follow involved instructions, troubleshoot issues, schedule, organize, coordinate, train, and prepare operating procedures with minimal supervision.
- strong interpersonal skills, organizational leadership, and management skills.
- English Language- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Application, SAP and /or preventive maintenance software programs.
