Portfolio Management Manager (Al Madinah Al-Munawarah)

Our client is a government sector in KSA. They are currently looking to recruited Portfolio Management Manager
Location: Medina

Duties & Responsibilities
• Contribute to the division’s strategy as it relates to the unit and manage the implementation of the unit strategy.
• Contribute to divisional business plans, and develop the unit’s objectives, annual plan, and strategy, and manage its execution in line with the division’s business plan and strategy.
• Develop the unit’s budget in line with annual plans and the division’s overall business plan and target objectives, and share the budget with concerned superiors for review and approval.
• Draft business cases for all unit projects and shares with the concerned superiors for review and approval.
• Monitor the financial performance of the unit against the approved budget, ensure accurate and timely reporting on variances to concerned superiors, and manage the implementation of corrective measures and plans as per direction from the concerned superiors.
• Monitor the operational performance of the unit against the approved targets and KPIs, report on variances to concerned superiors, and manage the implementation of corrective measures in coordination with Corporate Performance Management.
• Contribute to the division’s risk register as it relates to the unit, covering strategic and operational risks and while adhering to risk management processes.
• Manage the selection and development of experienced and qualified candidates; assigning the right people in the right positions as per the strategic direction of the unit.
• Set individual objectives of direct reports, in conjunction with Corporate Performance Management and aligned with the approved KPIs, and periodically evaluate their performance in a fair, transparent and objective manner in accordance with the company and Employee Performance Management procedures.
• Develop the manpower needs of the unit in coordination with the director, and properly plan the optimal allocation and effective use of its resources.
• Follow up on the implementation of action plans and operational programs, and the unit’s main objectives, prioritizing the achievement of the division’s goals; and provide guidance and instruction to subordinates on appropriate solutions to the difficult problems that may hinder the proper implementation.
• Support superiors in instilling a culture focused on continuous improvement and positive change orientation, exercised through interactions with his team, and encouraged through the design and delivery of change programs and initiatives including coaching and mentoring, and on the job training. Place particular emphasis on developing this culture within the team of direct reports.
• Ensure that all the unit’s policies and processes are applied according to approved P&Ps and guidelines.
• Support concerned superiors in establishing a proper network within and between units through implementing well-integrated systems to better serve the business needs of the company.

Requirements

Duties & Responsibilities
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration of Equivalent.
• CFA professional certification or equivalent is preferred..
• 10 years’ experience in a similar role
• Good communication skills
• Fluency in English & Arabic
• Saudi Nationals
