Process Engineer (Water Treatment)

Job description / Role

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
• Assume responsibility for maintaining production and water quality incompliance with the legal undertakings and specifications prescribed by the client and as set down in the performance requirements;
• Preparation of Technical reports in case of any deviation from design process performances.
• GAP analysis
• Assume responsibility for maintaining the facility in good working order.
• The management of Operations & maintenance personnel within operational budgets;
• Assume responsibility for the management of the laboratory and any external
• analyses;
• Monitor process KPI’s & generation of periodical Performance reports
• Responsible for the site during the absence of Site manager

Qualifications
• The Process Engineer will work closely with the Manager and team to assess the current situation, propose improvements and implement selected actions in the operation and maintenance.
• Experience and/or qualification
• At least bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering
• Experience in water and wastewater processes

Technical knowledge & skills
• Sound Knowledge on IWWTP
• MS Office
• Personal attributes
• Strong leadership and communication skills (in English a must and Arabic an advantage).
• Able to write reports and memos in English.
• Manage project both in group and by him/her self.
• Work in a team and be a team player.
• Able to train and transfer knowledge.

Requirements

Experience and/or qualification
