Due to continued growth and expansion, we now have an excellent opportunity available for a top calibre Procurement Administrator (Location: Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia) to join our evolving international organization.

As Procurement Administrator, under the direction of the Supply Chain and Service Centre Managers, you will provide procurement admin support and solutions for SPX Service Centre based in Al-Khobar. The position holder will provide administrative direction and support for daily operational activities such as: data entry on SAP, liaising with suppliers, processing new orders, resolving complaints and queries, maintaining and updating procurement records.

Responsibilities will also include, but are not limited to:
- Obtain vendor quotes and issue purchase orders for parts and services.
- Negotiate price, delivery and terms and conditions for assigned purchases.
- Issue PO's "Purchase Orders" from approved requisition queues.
- Obtain timely vendor PO acknowledgement and promise dates.
- Expediting of suppliers to ensure materials and document deliverables are received in line with Project schedules
- Expediting internally to ensure delays in the Procurement process do not impact on the Project
- Closing out purchase orders, files and archiving documents,
- Ensure effective communication with discipline functions, such as Engineering, QA, HSE & Document Control
- Support Accounts/Commercial personnel in verifying and/or resolving supplier invoices and queries
- Drive activities in support deflation and cost saving for company indirect spend.
- Effectively and efficiently report status to management.
- Inputs data into SAP database; including order input to trigger final invoicing.
- Deal with SPX service functions to carry out requests on behalf of the Service Centre General Manager.
- Negotiation, formulation and placement of purchase orders on sub-suppliers.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, ideally you will need to be an effective communicator with good attention to details and good IT skills (SAP preferably ECC6) who have previously worked in an industrial procurement environment and understands procurement procedures in a matrix structure. Applicant requires having:

- Bachelor degree in a relevant field.
- 3 - 5 years previous experience as an Administrative Assistant in a service or manufacturing environment.
- Previous working experience with SAP is essential (preferably ECC6).
- Demonstrated experience interpreting company policy/procedures and organisational structures.
- Proven discretion with highly confidential information/documents.
- The ability to manage diverse volume of work and manage appropriate priorities which involve a high frequency of change.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and professionalism.
- Strong computer skills including expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Lotus Notes preferred. Ability to quickly develop proficiency in new programs.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- High degree of integrity, discretion and judgment.
- Polished professional communication skills and personal presentation.
