Job description / Role
Supply Manager is responsible to drive local purchasing activities for indirect material and services, working together with the Cluster Supplier Management team and different stakeholders to ensure supply of high quality material and services at lowest possible price.
- Drive sourcing, contracting and purchase to payment activities based on agreed strategy.
- Implement global, cluster and local contracts
- Manage local supplier base
- Identify cost saving opportunities and develop required plans to achieve them.
- Drive cost and spend follow-up with suppliers
- Drive and measure supplieer performance
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
Requirements
- Degree in Purchasing, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
- At least 6 years of procurement experience (Indirect procurement experience is a must) preferably with multi-national company.
- Good experience with procurement processes, supplier management, contract management, competitive bidding and market conditions.
- Strong knowledge in supply strategy, cost analysis, planning, supplier management and fact based negotiation skills.
