Job description / Role
Commercial and Contract Support across PSLs.
Responsible for planning, organizing, and continually improving the commercialization process with focus on specific acquisition opportunities. Provides expertise on issues related to tendering and acts as a focal point of contact during negotiation activities on individual pursuits.
Particular emphasis is given to implementing the appropriate commercial solution and managing the proposals preparation, cost estimating and contractual review relating to given pursuits.
Possesses a basic knowledge of risk analysis. Experience in reservoir understanding and oil and gas deal structures where applicable. Typically has 6-8 years of experience, with 1-2 years of experience in a commercial role or 2 years in a commercial/proposals/business development role only.
Requirements
• Position: Contract Assurance Engineer
• Experience: 5 to 7 years, minimum 3 years within oil and gas (upstream) industry (preferably with Operator)
• Desirable: previous experience as field personnel or Contract role wherein the incumbent should be responsible for tendering including evaluation.
• Qualifications: Engineering Degree, with exposure to commercial and finance
