Production Manager

Job description / Role

Responsible for planning and managing the dissemination and strengthening of SEL brand in the domestic market and the sustained expansion of business activities in new products, markets and regions to increase the market share, according to the quality standards, communication, identity visual and brand positioning.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and align the sectors of production and supply chain strategic planning of SEL, for achieving goals and expected profitability.
- Ensure quality of the panels mounted and commercialized by SEL Saudi.
- Define, monitor and propose action of necessary improvements so that the indicators of the area of Production, Supplements and Quality are fulfilled. Report relevant information related to the sector periodically to Management.
- Ensure that repairs and product conversions in HP Saudi follow procedures and Work Instructions agreed in advance.
- Provide the resources needed to the Quality Sector for the Quality Management System, ensuring it is implemented and maintained in SEL Saudi
- Responsible for ensuring that imports / logistics processes occur within shorter terms possible, respecting the limits of previously defined costs.
- Ensure safety standards and requirements for production crews, storage and HP can fulfil its activities with full quiet, mitigating potential personal injury hazards.
- Support other sectors in process mapping, standardization of procedures and internal processes.
- Plan, supervise and coordinate in conjunction with the HR development of the company's employees through internal training, to maintain a team with high professional training.
- Supervise the technical solutions related to panels of projects in order to ensure the correct implementation of the solutions.
- Identify possible new suppliers aiming to improve the panels assembled by SEL Saudi. Search for partners who provide products with proven quality, technically updated and a relationship cost / benefit adequate to keep the profitability of the business in Saudi.
- Manage together with the production coordinator and the resources necessary manpower to meet the demand for panels to be produced monthly by setting the need for outsourcing partners to meet peaks in demand.

Requirements

- 10 years in the management of the Production Management Department and / or Supply Chain Management, comprising import duties, purchasing and production equipment on demand (customized).
- Degree in Electric Engineering or Production
- Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Background check results satisfactory to SEL
