Job description / Role
- Be part of teams to plan and monitor project schedules and coordinate project execution within time and budget
- Significant role in coordination of project matters with team members, vendors and clients on project development
- Input into preparation of project related technical and other documents, inspection test plans, schedules and functional test procedures, information and O&M manuals to clients
- Involvement in visits and to Supplier/ Vendor and In-house manufacturing plants to oversee the progress of fabrication and assembly of project equipment and components to support on-time and quality delivery
- Supervision of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure workmanship standards are achieved
- Liaise with vendors, clients, consultants and in-house groups to ensure that agreed budget, delivery schedule, technical, quality and safety aspects are met
- Prepare, compile, review and deliver key project specifications for procurement of supply items and subcontracts
- Implement agreed project execution plan, construction, commissioning and testing processes
- Oversee the project completion and handover to the Client or Operator
- Identify project risks, develop and implement risk mitigation processes
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Controls/ Environmental/ Chemical/ Process)
- Minimum 3 years or more experience in a project environment
- Working knowledge of project planning, coordination and project controls
- Able to use or understand proprietary planning / scheduling software such as Pimavera or MS Project is desirable
- Knowledge or experience in water treatment will be an advantage
- Contract will be two years or upon completion of project, whichever earlier
