Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Management Specialist to join Joint Upstream & Downstream Project Managem. Saudi PM Teams are responsible and accountable for the delivery of best in class capital projects. US&DS PM is directly involved in executing and managing assigned projects safely, on schedule, within budget and to the highest standards of integrity and compliance. This will involve engineering design, procurement and construction of various sizes ($), types and complexity of small, medium to multi-billion-dollar mega projects.

Project Management Team manages and executes projects usually from multiple site offices or engineering contractor design offices, geographically scattered throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The PM Specialist is a company-wide recognized Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the field of Project Management. He provides expert advice and guidance in one or more specialized areas of Project Management, including but not limited to project planning, project execution, and project controls. As an SME, he utilizes his extensive experience and knowledge to optimize project planning, improve design and construction quality, and to improve project costs and schedules.

The PM Specialist is an expert in one or more disciplines that directly affect project performance, including but not limited to planning and scheduling, project execution, estimation, cost engineering, geomatics, value engineering, and other Value Improvement Practices.

Duties and responsibilities

You will be required to perform the following tasks:

Provide expert advice and guidance in project planning, project execution, and/or project control.

Assist in resolving project management problems related to his area of expertise, including project planning deficiencies, project quality defects (in engineering, procurement, or construction), schedule slippages, and potential cost over runs.

Work closely with project engineers and other project professionals to provide work direction and guidance.

Formulate and implement strategies to improve project planning, cost, schedule, and/or quality.

Evaluate existing tools and methodologies in his area of expertise and makes recommendations on their implementation at Saudi Aramco.

Lead internal or external problem-solving teams as directed by management.

Conduct training courses in his area of expertise.

Train and mentor developing engineers and other project management professionals.

Participate in development of standards, guidelines, instructions, policies and procedures on an as-required basis.

Participate in the review and evaluation of the capabilities of E&C contractors, suppliers, and project management

Requirements

Minimum requirements

As the successful candidate, you will hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business from a recognized and approved program. An advanced degree is preferred.

You will also obtain a Professional certification by AACE, PMI, or the professional engineering boards.

You will have Fifteen years' experience in project management field.
