- Interprets and verifies industry standards, guidelines and codes for project deliverables
- Schedules and monitors work plans consistent with prime contract requirements
- Leads technical discussions with customer and supplier
- Know the technical requirements of the project; implement them and help others to accomplish the same
- Participate in Continuous improvement and other improvement initiatives by assembling and evaluating data and recommending improvements
- Is responsible for commercial or public sector, technical contractual activities on one or more projects of various sizes
- Is the company's prime contact with the client and as such is responsible for promoting continuing relations
- Responsible for the full performance of every phase of a major project or a group of smaller projects
- Responsibilities include planning, directing, supervising and controlling all technical, fiscal and administrative functions of contractual activities
- May supervise one or more lower level Project Managers or the entire project staff

Requirements

- BS or MS degree is required
- 15 years experience as a Project Manager in an Engineering, Environmental or Construction organization is required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
- Professional Engineering certification in related discipline is preferred
- Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred
