Project Manager Power Products Division and High Voltage

Norconsulting is urgently looking for a Project Manager (Power Products Division and High Voltage) to join a world leader in High Voltage Power Products manufacturing such as transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers,cables and associated equipment, based in Saudi Arabia.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following tasks:-
- Reviewing technical offer, product drawings, commercial offer contents to develop a project plan including timeframe, budget, staffing requirements, allocation of available resources and the planned project gross margin and costs.
- Ensuring implementation of projects according to schedule and cost requirements. Monitors the project activities and spending trends, and takes appropriate corrective actions to meet the targets and optimize project margins.
- Manages change requests, delays, and other issues that arise during the project.
- Ensures projects follow good methodology and execution practices in accordance with internal standard procedures.
- Leading the project team allocated to the project, defining main guidelines, allocating project tasks, motivating and monitoring internal and external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones.
- Provides feedback regarding allocated resources working on projects.
- Defining the manufacturing and the testing plans with production team ensuring adherence to the contractual delivery date and budget. Confirms the order validity and enters the final specifications into Systems Applicaiton Products.
- Collaborating with sales to negotiate with customers regarding any changes to be made to the order relative to


specifications, time frame, costs of variations.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers, provides regular status reports, and communicates effectively to ensure satisfaction. Serves as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues.
- Ordering materials with the relevant specifications (lead time, quality, and budget) through SAP on design approval, coordinating with buyers as necessary.
- Initiating the purchase of goods with external providers and collaborates with relevant internal teams to define requirements and oversee performance.
- Attending test activities with the customer, identifies necessary changes and assures their implementation.
- Ensuring that project and contractual documentation is updated and properly managed.
- Assuring that customer claims authorized by the quality team are properly resolved.

Requirements

Ideally you'll hold a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, and Master of Science/MBA is a plus. A minimum of 5 to 10 years of working experience in High Voltage (HV)/Extra High Voltage (EHV) products (preferred) or in HV/EHV substations. Fluent in English (speaking and writing) is a must.
