Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Strategic Procurement/Planning
- Conduct research to ascertain best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules, quality and capacity. Develop and implement/enforce purchasing policies/procedures and ethical standards through work practices and coaching/developing team.

Relationship Maintenance with suppliers:
- Identify and on board new potential suppliers, visiting existing suppliers and building and maintaining relationships.
- Ensure suppliers are aware of their performance versus company expectations and have sufficient capability and capacity to meet business needs.

Purchase Process Management:
- Ensure purchase procedures are being practiced and updated on a regular basis.
- Produce, analyze and report purchase analytic and KPI reports to proactively manage supplier performance. Contract with 3rd party service providers for supply chain services (freight forwarding, customs clearance, inland transportation, etc)
- Prepare RFI/RFP/RFQ, tender and contract documents, negotiate contracts and monitor their progress.
- Contract with vendors of indirect supplies and services (stationary and supplies, IT hardware, catering, maintenance and other services) to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure appropriate ethical/contractual/legal coverage for all sourcing activities.

Staff Supervision:
- Manage the purchase team and coach them on a regular basis.
- Develop work and development plans for staff.
- Recruit, develop, coach/train purchasing personnel to high standards of performance.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Business/Supply chain 6-9 years relevant experience.
- Knowledge of purchase process
- Tier 1-2 ERP active user or super user mid level IT skills
