The Jotun MEIA graduate program is one important tool in meeting this challenge, as it offers the graduates a rich and fulfilling experience along with extensive training. Jotun MEIA region is looking for young talent for a one year graduate program. We will give this opportunity to highly qualified candidates that we believe can make a difference to the future development of Jotun. The Jotun MEIA graduate program will take the graduates through a challenging and exciting journey in the organization. Selected candidates will also be given specific tasks and assignments for a maximum period of 3 months outside their home location within the MEIA region.

Jotun Paints Saudi Arabia has been established for more than 30 years and has three production facilities in Jeddah and Yanbu with 5 sales offices and warehouses around the Kingdom and more than 500 employees. Jotun Saudia has ambitious growth plans and in order to support this growth, as a part of the Jotun MEIA graduate program, we are looking for a Purchasing Executive in the Purchase Department. This position is based in Jeddah.

Responsibility:
- Work closely with Production and Protective & Marine Sales teams to plan the quantity of raw materials to meet both service level & inventory targets.
- Analyse Bill of Materials to ensure material availability & manage phase in/out of materials to minimize risk of obsolete stock.
- Support the Assistant Purchasing Manager in generating consumption vs. planned, ordered reports, inventory balances, and target & process cycle time performance measures for management review.
- Determine root causes for Raw Material shortages & implement permanent corrective action.
- Manage and mitigate excess & obsolete inventory through global re-balancing of supplies.

Requirements

- Saudi Nationals only (Saudization program)
- Academic degree (Bachelor and /or Master’s degree)
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Good command of verbal and written English and Arabic languages
