Job description / Role
Job duties
- Manage listing of new items, to achieve Category target and corresponding Space availability
- Evaluate and Analysis and industry trends and provide action plan
- Provide statistical analysis and direction to Management and Purchasing to achieve agreed Sales/Profit targets
- Ensure timely development of Plano-grams and Implementations
- Develop Periodic Category Review Calendar
- Partner with Key Suppliers for Category Captainency
- Provide ongoing support to various departments
- Interpret and Analyze Industry Data and suggestion to Improve Category Performance
- Defining In-Store Category Adjacency
Requirements
Experience and skills required for the job
- Has very relevant exp – of similar categories over few years ( Retail Stores - Hypermarkets - Supermarkets ) etc
- Has international experience of visiting fairs/ shows
- Have done major working on imports.
- Not from E-commerce
- Experience 10 – 12 years
