Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Assists the purchasing head in preparing and sending RFQs.
- Assists in obtaining and studying comparative prices and quotations and makes purchasing decisions based on information obtained.
- Negotiates prices, payment terms and INCO terms with suppliers.
- Issues purchase orders.
- Follows up shipping details with suppliers and freight forwarders.
- Follows up the customs clearance process.
- Evaluates all purchase orders and ensure accuracy in all SKU.
- Provides daily shipment updates to purchasing head.
- Monitors and evaluates suppliers’ performance.
- Initiates and maintains proper filing for purchasing documents.
- Prepares correspondence, forms, manuals, reports, and payment requests.

Requirements

- Bachelor Degree
- 3-5 years of experience in foreign purchasing.
- Knowledge of purchasing and shipping processes.
- Good command of MS office tools.
- Has valid transferable Saudi Ikama.
- Previous ERP experience is a plus.
