Employment: Full Time

QA/QC Engineer - Mechanical (x3) - AF Engineering - Makkah

- Monitor the effectiveness and requirements of the works through Quality Control and laboratory functions.
- Oversee the implementation and operation of the project quality plan and manage and maintain the quality inspections of the workplace conducted both by the company and the client, liaising with client auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with specifications of them
- Develop and manage written procedures for quality control/quality assurance.
- Supervise MEP works contracts including quantity measurement, quality, variation and payments.
- Ensure that sub-contractors comply with works’ specifications.
- Establish and maintain procedures to develop standard documentation for all MEP works and quality control and assurance for the projects.
- Responsible for ensuring that the approved Project Quality Plan is effectively implemented in the contract and the inspection and test results are properly documented.
- Ensure review of sub-contractors procedures and plans.
- Responsible to organize, implement & monitor the QA/QC program.
- Liaise with Client/Engineer for the conduct of day-to-day Quality related activities of the Project.
- Coordinate all inspection and test requirements of the project at all stages of process / production as per the Inspection & Test Plan and contract requirements.
- Ensure the pertinent records of inspection and testing are compiled and maintained by the Document Controller until the end of the contract and co-ordinate for sending all pertinent records for retention to the document storage, on completion of the Project.
- Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly quality reports as per the contract specns.
- Compile test packs and submit to the Engineer as and when required
- Maintain calibration records for Inspection, Measuring & Test Equipment used in the Project.
- Ensure that all materials and equipment incorporated into permanent construction are in compliance with the contract requirements.
- Ensure that Engineer’s approval and /or required factory or supplier compliance certificates have been obtained upon delivery of available materials at the project site.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager regarding work performance and shall immediately bring to the attention of Project Manager by issuing an NCR in any area where discrepancies remain uncorrected, and shall close out NCR upon satisfactory correction of noted deficiencies.

Requirements

- BE Mechanical.
- 5 years in core MEP projects out of which 2years in a similar role on a large-scale projects like airports, stadiums, 5 star hotels, and super specialty hospitals.
