QA/QC Manager - Food

Job description / Role

Candidates with relevant experience in Food Industry Only

ON-LINE PROCESS CONTROL ACTIVITIES:
- To ensure and verify the process activities and products at different stages through close on-line monitoring of process activities and master sanitation program with team of On-line Quality Control
- Staff and ensure effective implementation of controls, correction and corrective action for any deviation on time.
- Effective follow up of Approved Recipes.
- Effective implementation of inspection of finished products.
- QC Daily Manpower scheduling & Control of Daily QC Activities

LABORATORY ACTIVITIES: (on-line Lab and Central Lab)
- To ensure Daily Monitoring of Water Treatment Plant & Boiler Water
- To ensure effective implementation and validation of Test Methods/Procedures and test results as per Quality Manual and its documentation.
- Timely review of test methods and procedures and ensure its validation and verification with standard reference methods/procedures and ensure test results within tolerance limits as per international standard references. (Inter lab and external lab).
- To conduct data analysis of on-line test parameters, test results, activities for raw materials, in-process materials and finished products and Follow-up for any abnormality along with recommended actions with concern responsible.
- Ensure proper follow up of GLP and safety standards (On-line lab and central lab).
- To ensure maintaining all QC records & consumable stock for effective traceability as per the guidelines of ISO 17025.

SAMPLING PLAN AND PROCEDURES:
- To ensure proper follow up of sampling procedure and plan as per Quality Manual.
- To ensure effective inspection of finished product before dispatch for compliance of product quality and packing quality attributes.
- To ensure the release of raw material, process materials and finished product as per SASO/GCC standards/FFF specification

Requirements

HOUSEKEEPING, GMP AND PEST CONTROL:
- To ensure proper storage conditions for raw materials, packaging materials, in-process and finished products of all cold stores, sections and warehouses.
- To ensure monitoring housekeeping, factory hygiene & proper follow of GMP in processing and factory area and monthly GMP audit and compliance.
- To ensure effective implementation of pest control activities as per Quality Manual and compliance.

BRC-ISO-HACCP SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION:
- Active participation as a Food Safety Team and QC & QA Representative for audit and compliance.
- To prepare plan and conduct QC Staff training as a continual improvement for GA, GMP, GLP, HACCP, SOP & MSP to improve the overall performance of Quality Control Department.
- Verification and Review of QC SOP and Work Instruction.
- Validation & verification of HACCP Modules, OPRP & CCP as per HACCP Plan.
- Setting up and Updating of Quality Objective & KPI for QC Monthly audit of All QC Records in order to comply with BRC-ISO-HACCP system and submit report with recommended action

MISCELLANEOUS:
- To ensure proper filling of QC records, updating of QC records (hard copies and soft copies) and safe keeping of records for easy traceability.
- Any other responsibility/assignment given by given by Senior Management.
