Quality Control Technician - Jotun MEIA Graduate Program

Jotun MEIA region is looking for young talent for a one year graduate program. The Jotun MEIA graduate program will take the graduates through a challenging and exciting journey in the organization. Selected candidates will also be given specific tasks and assignments for a maximum period of 3 months outside their home location within the MEIA region.

Jotun Paints Saudi Arabia has been established for more than 30 years and has three production facilities in Jeddah and Yanbu with 5 sales offices and warehouses around the Kingdom and more than 500 employees. Jotun Saudia has ambitious growth plans and in order to support this growth, as a part of the Jotun MEIA graduate program, we are looking for a Quality Control Technician in the Quality Control Department. This position is based in Jeddah.

Responsibility:
- Test and approve incoming material supplies in order to ensure raw material conformance to standardized specifications.
- Check and approve samples of production batches by running various QC tests, such as viscosity, dispersion, specific gravity and PH value, instruct operators for adjustments, if necessary, based on Jotun’s Quality Manual in order to ensure products quality.
- Maintain a safe and secure atmosphere by compliance to all relevant HSE standards and regulations related to pollution and waste generation in QC lab.
- Enter all quality control tests results in system in order to keep record of all QC testing activities.
- Maintain retained samples store in order to facilitate effortless tracking of samples in case of customer complaints.

Requirements

- Saudi nationals only (Saudization program)
- Academic degree (Bachelor and /or Master’s degree)
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Good command of verbal and written English and Arabic languages
