Job description / Role
Quality Engineer - Power - Khobar, Saudi Arabia
My client is one of the leading Engineering Consultancies in Saudi Arabia currently working on several projects and are looking to strengthen their team.
One of their most pressing requirements is for a Quality Engineer in Khobar.
Due to the client’s requirement, we are only looking at Western candidates (Europe, UK, South Africa, Australia/NZ, US)
Requirements
Key Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years of experience in power transmission system modelling, analysis and impact studies
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Power transmission & Distribution credit)
• Knowledge and experience with power quality discipline and the relevant standards and codes.
• Proficient in load flow, short circuit and contingencies studies using PSSE software.
• Experience in technical grid impact studies in the field of power quality for electric trains and metro including harmonics studies, voltage fluctuations etc
• Experience of using software’s such as DIgSILENT or PSCAD or similar types
