Quantity Surveyor - High Rise Hospitality & Residential Project - Makkah

The Morgan McKinley Construction Division have been retained by a leading, high profile business conglomerate in Saudi Arabia to assist their recruitment plans for 2016.

This business are currently due to commence a number of large hospitality and residential construction projects in the holy city of Makkah and Medina. The business has a reputation for producing projects of exceptionally high quality and as a result, they place a large emphasis on highly educated candidates.

They have a large pipeline of work ahead for the next 12-15 years so are seeking construction professionals who are looking to join an established business where they can build a strong career. They will be looking to hire a Quantity Surveyor who has gained experience working on high rise tower projects, particularly hotel projects.

They will also be looking to recruit for a number of other areas. Interviews will not be taking place for these positions until later in Q1, however we have been asked to start short-listing suitable construction professionals in the following disciplines:
* Planning Managers
* Project Managers
* Quantity Surveyors
* Commercial/Contract Managers

Requirements

Experienced Quantity Surveyor is required for a large high rise project based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role is with a high profile Saudi Arabian conglomerate and you will be working on very large, high profile hospitality and residential projects.

* As the business employs a diverse, international workforce, fluency in English is essential and whilst Arabic is not essential, it is beneficial. The business does however employ a large number of candidates from India, who are highly regarded within the business and many do not speak Arabic.
* Applicants must have experience working on high-rise buildings and exposure working on hotels is an added bonus.
* As these projects are very large, applicants need to have worked on developments worth at least the equivalent of US$200m to be considered
* As the majority of the projects are based in Makkah, only Muslim applicants can be considered for this location
