- Assist the Location Business Continuity/R3 Manager in developing and rolling out an effective total R3 program for field sites (crisis and emergency, business continuity and protective security management, travel risk), including operational procedures, program initiatives, and systems required to mitigate project emergency hazards, security, and community risks while maintaining continuity of operations and safeguarding assets.
- Ensure that project sites and offices are covered by robust and comprehensive R3 Management Plans (Security Plan, FPP/Medical & Comms Plans) and, where applicable, R3 Improvement Plans - this includes periodical follow-up with the Program Manager/Focal Point Leader to ensure no 'scope creep.'
- Interacting effectively with senior project management staff to ensure smooth coordination and execution of emergency response and management protocols.
- Conduct SVAs to determine the types of emergency-related needs to be addressed in disaster planning or provide technical support to others conducting such surveys.
- Plans, designs, and executes emergency response drills and desktop exercises, evaluating their efficacy for the Ma'aden project.
- Capable of working at various sites as required by the business, following instructions from the Location Business Continuity/R3 Manager
- Support the Location Business Continuity/R3 Manager in responding to R3 incidents or events and ensure that the R3 response and recovery team's equipment and resources are maintained and readily accessible for immediate use.
- Prepare plans that outline operating procedures for responding to disasters or emergencies, such as hurricanes, nuclear accidents, and terrorist attacks, and recovering from these events.
- Submit a weekly report to the Location Business Continuity/R3 Manager.
- Maintain the R3 Team Site weekly.
- Coordinate with the contracted local security company to uphold a high standard of service delivery as outlined in the contract agreement.

Requirements

Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
- A master's or bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Security Management, Emergency Management, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
- Relevant certifications or accreditations such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), or other relevant industry certifications.
- Specialised training in crisis and emergency management, business continuity planning, protective security management, and travel risk management.
- Extensive experience in security management, preferably in project or field site environment
- Strong understanding of security principles, risk assessment methodologies, and emergency response protocols.
