Receivable Accountant

Job description / Role

The AR accountant is responsible for carrying out and monitoring the receivable(revenue) accounting operations of the company. This is a hands-on role, which focuses on Accounts Receivable, Revenue Recognition, system implementation, process improvement and month end reporting.

Our client is a fast growing food group which has well known brands that have operations in food production and retail food and beverages outlets. Headquartered in Riyadh, it has a strong presence in Saudi Arabia and is growing rapidly across GCC.

Description
* Review, verify and Posting Sales Invoices, Enter Credit memo.
* Review, collection and cash deposit slips from cashier and enter Bank Receipts Record transaction in ERP.
* Do bank reconciliation on daily bases.
* Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts.
* Implements accounting procedures and company policy.
* Provides accounting support to accounting tasks during monthly closing and reporting requirements.
* Run ERP Aging report and monitor the customer account balance.
* Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
* Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.

Requirements

* Accounting degree with 2 to 3 years' experience
* ERP experience and referable Oracle
* Deadline-Oriented, Time Management, Attention to Detail, Confidentiality, PC Proficiency, Productivity, Verbal Communication, fluent in English, General Math Skills
