UNIT PROFILE:
• UNIT NAME Admission Nursery

• Patient Population: Neonates- Low Risk, Newborns
• Hours of Operation: 24 hours / 7 days per week
• #of Beds: 20 Beds
• Occupancy Rate: 100%

PRIMARY PATIENT DIAGNOSES:
• Assessment, Evaluation of Healthy Newborn Infants.
• Stabilize and provide care for 35 weeks - term post natal care for newborns with minor birth defects

• Newborn Physical Assessment
• Airway Management & Oxygen Administration (Nasal Cannula)
• Phototherapy
• Intense Phototherapy
• IV Immunoglobulin

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with current Nursing license - E
• Diploma in Nursing (Western standard) - Essential
• Two (2) years current clinical experience in specific area of practice - E
• Specific Certification as Required in area of assignment - E
• English Language Skills: Level I - E
• Computer Skills: Proficient - E
